Song by CMF while the coffin is lowered into the grave
MIN, As it has pleased the Almighty God to call from this life and to take to himself our brother, father husband uncle and friend Nwaboh Victor Njenwei, we therefore commit him to the ground from which he was made, in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life and looking to the infinite mercy of God in Jesus Christ, our judge, who died, was buried, and rose again for us, and now is alive, and who will make new our earthly bodies according to his mighty power.
Thus says the Lord, who created you out of the ground:
You are dust,
And to dust you shall return.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord;
CONGR: And let perpetual light shine upon him.

SONGS
CHB 516, CH 701
1) What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and grief to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
2) Have we trials and temptations?
Is the trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful?
Who will all our problem share?
Jesus knows our every weakness:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
3) Are we weak and heavy laden, Cumbered with a load of care?
Jesus only is our refuge:
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer; In his arm He’ll take and shield thee; Thou wilt find a solace there

1) Whither pilgrims, are you going, Going each with staff in hand? We are going on a journey,
Going at our king’s command;
Over hills and plain and valleys, We are going to his palace, Going to the better land.
2) Fear ye not the way so lonely, You a little feeble band?
No; for friends unseen are near us,
Holy angels round us stand;
Christ, our leader, walks beside us;
He will guard, and he will guide us, Guide us to that better land.
3) Tell us, pilgrims what you hope for In that far-off better land.
Spotless robes and crowns of glory,
From a saviour’s loving hands;
We shall drink of life’s clear river, We shall dwell with God for ever, In that bright and better land.
4) Pilgrims, may we travel with you To that bright and better land?
Come and welcome, come and welcome.
Welcome to our pilgrim band.
Come, O come, and do not leave us;
Christ is waiting to receive us In that bright and better land.
